I frequent PZ Myer's site quite often. he's my science hero.
Decided to pass this little gem along. mainly because i want to spread the pain that ive experienced. have fun writhing on the floor in agony.
a little context: this is a video of a man having a conversation with some devout women about faith and politics. it becomes a very revealing little snippet of what the mentality of some of the faithful are when it comes to elections
what for these gems:
*faith base international politics (yeah what would jesus do about the falling american dollar?)
*hilarious mispronunciations of Barak Obama's name.
*references to the same horrible email that we've all heard a billion times and has been discredited on national TV
*lack of any knowledge of what the hell is going on in the political realm, yet MAKING WILD CLAIMS TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT
*totally ditching bush and saying that he's "sooo not doing what god wants" (my question...why the fuck did he get elected by you TWICE)
